Andrea Prada

Andrea is a medical doctor who specialized in Anatomic Pathology and holds a Master’s Degree in Health Informatics. She has 6 years of work experience providing subject matter expertise with respect to clinical data, terminology, and HL7 messaging standards for EHR implementations and interface integrations. She has an ITIL Foundation certificate in IT service management and is familiar with multiple terminologies including LOINC, SNOMED CT, ICD-10, and RxNORM.

Prior to joining JMC, Andrea contributed to the implementation of multiple laboratory result interfaces (LRI) with a jurisdictional Electronic Health Record (EHR) that has become one of the most comprehensive territory-wide EHRs in Canada. She has experience developing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and remediating errors related to the flow of health data from source systems to the EHR solution.
