This course provides an overview of informatics role in the laboratory and data stewardship through all phases of testing. It also identifies the vital informatics applications in quality management, laboratory regulation, informatics support and infrastructure. Laboratory leadership will understand the valued communications between analytics and information technology and how it plays a role in supporting the collection, storage and reporting of data.
