Amita Worasilpchai

Amita has over three years of experience providing EPLC governance and IT security support to public health systems at the Center for Disease Control. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in public health and is currently working on her Master’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology (expected graduation Summer 2020). As a Technical Writer, Amita was a lead contributor in writing, editing, and managing updates to the User Manual for the Office of the Director’s Emergency Responder Health Monitoring and Surveillance system (ERHMS). As a Security Analyst, Amita was responsible for conducting Security Assessments and Authorization to ensure that National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) systems complied with Federal, HHS, and CDC standards, did not threaten the CDC operating environment, and could sustain security control compliance.

Amita brings organizational, program planning, and communications skills, along with a sound understanding of programmatic management and lifecycles to her role at JMC.
