Jenizah has over 8 years of experience in public health informatics and reportable disease surveillance systems at the state level. Beginning with electronic laboratory reporting (ELR), specifically validation of HL7 feeds in the onboarding process, she expanded her knowledge of HL7 and vocabulary such as LOINC and SNOMED CT. Jenizah’s focus areas broadened to include reporting compliance, data quality, mapping, and overall disease surveillance system functionality. Her experience includes providing support to a variety of stakeholders involved at different points of the public health reporting process, disease surveillance systems, reporting requirements, Message Mapping Guides (MMGs), and electronic case reporting (eCR). Jenizah earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The College of New Jersey followed by a Master of Public Health with concentration in Environmental and Occupational Health from Rutgers University School of Public Health.
